Social Media Content AssistantFlavor District | Part-Time Contract | Wake Forest, NC (Flexible / Remote)About UsFlavor District is a virtual food hall in Wake Forest, NC, home to 12 restaurateurs serving the localcommunity through delivery and takeout. We're relaunching our social media presence and arelooking for a creative, reliable student to help us get back in front of our community.The RoleThis is a flexible, part-time contract role, about 10–15 hours per month. You'll manage our Facebook,Instagram and TikTok accounts, with a focus on sharing great content from our vendors and creatingone original reel each month. It's a great chance to own a real brand's social presence and build yourportfolio.What You'll Do• Find and repurpose appropriate posts and reels from our vendors (with permission and propercredit/tags)• Publish 2–3 posts per week across Facebook and Instagram using Meta Business Suite• Plan, shoot and edit one original reel per month, and cross-post it to Instagram, Facebook andTikTok• Get our TikTok account active and consistent• Check comments and messages a few times a week and respond or flag them to us• Send a short monthly recap of what performed well and ideas for the next monthWhat We're Looking For• Current college student, ideally studying marketing, communications, business, or a related field• Comfortable creating and editing short-form video (CapCut, Instagram Edits, or similar)• Familiar with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok trends• Organized and dependable; can work independently with light check-ins• Bonus: Canva skills, photography experience, or a love of local food and small businessesDetails• Pay: $300/month (independent contractor)• Schedule: Flexible, about 10–15 hours/month, with occasional on-site visits for filming• Start: ASAP, with a 90-day trial period• Location: Wake Forest, NC (mostly remote, with occasional on-site visits)To ApplySend a short note about why you're interested, plus links to 2–3 examples of social content you'vecreated (your own accounts count), to Flavor District at info@flavordistrictnc.com
