We're hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live more independent, fulfilling lives in their communities.

The role

You'll work directly with clients in nursing homes and community settings, supporting their daily routines, personal care needs, and social goals. This isn't a desk job — it's real, relationship-driven work that makes a difference every day.

What you'll do

- Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility - Support individuals in accessing community resources, appointments, and social activities - Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately - Use positive behavioral support strategies to encourage independence and manage challenging behaviors - Communicate with families, care coordinators, and supervisors as part of the care team - Respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations - Transport clients to appointments or activities as needed

About you

- High school diploma or GED not required - Prior experience in direct care, home health, or a related field preferred (we will train the right candidate) - Genuine commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities - Reliable, patient, and able to work independently - Valid driver's license a plus - Must be able to pass a background check
