Hope Home Care, Inc. is actively hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) to support clients in their homes across New York City. If you're someone who genuinely cares about helping others live with dignity and independence, this role is for you.

The role

You'll work directly with clients in their homes, assisting with daily living and providing personal care under the direction of a supervising nurse or care coordinator. The work is hands-on and relationship-driven — you're often the person a client sees most. That matters.

What you'll do

- Assist clients with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting- Help with mobility, transfers, and light exercise as directed- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks related to client care- Monitor and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse- Accompany clients to appointments or community activities- Document care provided accurately and on time- Follow the client's individualized plan of care

About you

- Current HHA certificate (NY State) required — or willingness to complete our HHA training pathway- Able to work independently in a home setting- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate- Comfortable working with elderly, disabled, or medically fragile clients- Strong communication skills and a patient demeanor- CPR/First Aid certification a plus
