Job Description
Han Orthopaedics is seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Assistant to join our team at our Los Angeles and Fullerton locations.
This position provides valuable hands-on clinical experience and is ideal for a Pre-Med student looking to strengthen their medical background before applying to medical school.
Applicants must be available to work at both our Los Angeles and Fullerton locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and obtain medical histories
- Prepare and clean examination rooms
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments
- Schedule patient appointments and surgeries
- Submit insurance authorization requests
- Answer phone calls and assist with general front-office duties
- Maintain accurate patient information and medical records
- Perform other administrative and clinical duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Current Pre-Med student strongly preferred
- Must be able to work at both the Los Angeles and Fullerton locations
- Spanish or Korean-speaking ability is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Dependable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required
- Training will be provided
