Associate Therapist, AMFT, ACSW, APCC
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to clients
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards
- Stay current on the latest research and best practices in the field of therapy
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a therapist, preferably in a clinical setting
- Experience working in a clinical setting providing psychotherapy to diverse populations
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques
- Strong case management skills, including the ability to coordinate care with other providers and agencies
- Ability to facilitate group therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Registered Associate number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences of California
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
